Fredericksburg Country Club offers optional text messaging. Providing a mobile number or signing the membership application does not by itself enroll you. Select each category you want below. Leave unchecked any category you do not want.

Email enrollment
SMS Terms and Conditions · SMS Privacy Addendum
Do not send an initial SMS to ask for permission. Reply to the member by email with the following text and the policy links. Retain the member’s affirmative response with the disclosure provided.
Thank you for requesting text messaging from Fredericksburg Country Club. Please confirm your mobile number and reply with the selections you authorize:
A — I agree to receive service texts about tee times, reservations, member service requests, operational club updates, and closures.
B — I agree to receive recurring marketing texts about member events, invitations, activities, and offers, including messages sent using automated technology where used.
You may choose A, B, both, or neither. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance once enrolled. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or membership. Please review the SMS Terms and SMS Privacy Addendum linked with this enrollment template before replying. Help: michael@fredclub.org or (540) 373-1657. Please include your typed name to document your authorization.
Staff: If the reply is ambiguous, clarify by email. Record the categories explicitly selected. Do not infer permission for B from a request for a reservation confirmation.
In person service consent script
“Would you like service text messages from Fredericksburg Country Club about tee times, reservations, member service requests, operational updates, and club closures? Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase or membership. Here are our SMS Terms and SMS Privacy Addendum for your review. Do you agree to receive these service texts at the mobile number you provide?”
Staff: Provide the policy email or printed copies before asking for agreement. Record the member’s exact affirmative response, number, date and time, your name, and script version. Prefer the signed insert when practical. A vague request to “contact me” is insufficient.
In person event and promotional consent
Provide the membership SMS insert or equivalent electronic form. Ask the member to select and sign the separate event and promotional choice. Under this proposed procedure, do not enroll promotional recipients based solely on verbal permission.
Requested MFA disclosure
Display before the member requests a code:
“Send a one-time verification code from Fredericksburg Country Club to my selected mobile number. Message and data rates may apply. Requesting this code does not subscribe me to club announcements or promotional texts.”
Staff: Log the request event and consent disclosure version without retaining the code in the consent log. If members instead receive codes from a separate vendor, identify that sender and platform before describing it as a UniFi Talk use case.
